Growing Together, Fall Calendar
Here is what is ahead as we continue Growing Together this fall.
- Sunday, October 18: Pledge Sunday. Regular worship schedule at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:00 AM.
- Tuesday, October 20: Board of Stewards meeting, Wesley Room 214, 6:30 PM.
- Saturday, October 24: Family Hope, Food Fair in Wallis, 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
- Sunday, October 25: Special worship schedule and Celebration Lunch. Traditional worship at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary, worship at 10:00 AM in the Worship Center, and Celebration Lunch at 11:00 AM in the Gym.
- Sunday, November 1: Membership Sunday, 12 PM to 2:00 PM, Second Floor Family Life Center.
- Saturday, November 7: "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made", 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Dr. Kasey Hankins, PT, DPT, OCS, helping people navigate pain, build strength, and stay active.
Be Courageous, Youth Meet This Sunday
Real courage is not the absence of fear. It is deciding what matters more than that fear. Join us this Sunday from 5:00 to 6:30 PM as Pastor Bill talks about what it takes for a young person to be brave today.
Come for dinner, stay for the conversation, and bring a friend who needs to hear it. Fear is not going anywhere, so let's learn together how to be courageous anyway.
Operation Christmas Child, Save the Date
Union Chappel hosts its third annual Operation Christmas Child event on Sunday, October 4 at 11:00 AM in the gym. Volunteers will pack 1,000 shoeboxes for children around the world, sharing the gospel with kids who may hear it for the first time.
- Worship schedule for October 4: Traditional at 8:30 AM, Contemporary at 10:00 AM, Traditional at 10:00 AM. There is no 11:00 AM Traditional Worship on October 4.
- Shoebox packing follows the 10:00 AM worship services.
- We need volunteers throughout September to sort items, fold boxes, and help with setup before the big day.

Parking Detour, Harris Street Construction
The parking lot at 2nd and Harris now has a temporary one lane entrance from 2nd Street. Use caution.
The regular entrance across from the Administration Building is no longer available. Use the temporary entrance on 2nd Street instead. Temporary walkways cross Harris Street at the corner of 2nd and Harris.
